     The Sallee Chevrolet Super Street 502 is back with a complete make over. In addition to the full array of big-block crate engines, Sallee Chevrolet has added the Super Street 502. The new Super Street 502 carries the name of the original Super Street 502 but that is where the the comparison ends. The new Super Street 502 is an all new design from the ground up using the GM ZZ 502/502 as the foundation and vastly improving on it. The new Super Street 502 puts out an impressive 625 horsepower at 5,900 rpm and 600 ft.-lbs. at 4,600 rpm. Sallee Chevrolet’s disign goal for the new Super Street 502 was to build and engine that would bring the ZZ 502/502 up to it’s full potential and still be a streetable engine that would run off of 92 octane pump gas. Each part that went into the new Super Street 502 was carefully picked to meet our design goal. The solid roller camshaft was picked to help get the engine to run over 6,000 rpm. Head porting of the ZZ 502/502 and the Edelbrock 2904 intake manifold where picked to help the engine breath better and the 950 cfm mechanical carburetor delivers the fuel the 502 wants with instant throttle responce.
