it is the eclectic taste in cars dude,,, people choose cars because of many cretaria they consider, not only running super fast. for example, people choose B series engine in Honda, but not H22A, even though the H22A is stronger,,, u know why? cuz B series engines can be revved up to 12K RPM safely, while H series cannot be revved safely past 8.5K .... so, they sacreficed poewer for revving ... and same goes with US automobiles vs. JDM autos. you only want a superfast car. at the same time, you are a very poor man to afford modifying JDM cars.... Hence, u ll be smart if u choose US car if you only want to go fast. But if you wanna go fast and u r out of budget, u will be silly if u go w/ JDM.
BTW, don't forget the power/weight ratio
tuning is everything dude. there can be 300 HP difference between tuned and untuned car

resonably, it doesn't matter if the car is FWD or not if u r going straight. However, it matters when u r in an autoX racing. in this case, the FWD will be better since the the the wheels which cause the car to move are the same wheels that turning. but when you try to turn right or left in a US car, the front wheels will be an obstacle

those don't like Civics because of the lack in budget, creativity, and skillfulness
they just want something very easy to play w/ like US cars,,, they don't want to be genuies once in their life
ammmmm, u r kinda right, but I don't think that u wanna drive a 1000-HP car around
in sum, we are looking for a streetable car, once u r past 500 HP, that won't be a drivable car and it will be only for racing
but I don't know if I am right, u cannot have a US car tat can rev past 10K RPM, correct me if I am wrong.

you should guys learn how to respect, not others' opinions, but others' taste... there is no one single criterion can make a car better then another, but ur taste and ur perspective can make a car better than another for urself only

لما تدوس ترتفع المقدمة و ينتقل وزن السيارة للخلف و يقل الوزن على القسم الأمامي اللي فيه كفرات و يأثر على التراكشن
عشان كذا الدفع الخلفي لما ينتقل الوزن يضغط على الإطارات الخلفية و يستفيد .. ليش احنا ما ننزل سيارات الدراق من الأمام ؟؟ و ليش نحط البطارية في الخلف ؟ و ليش نحط جنوط خفاف و ضعاف قدام؟؟ و ليش نحط سسبنشن قوي في الخلف ؟؟
كل هذا عشان نستفيد من الوزن اللي جاي على الإطارات الخلفية
و في نفس الوقت أحنا ما نرغب في أن ترتفع السيارة عن الأرض لأن المرجحة تخسرك زمن

but bro, don't ye think that the big amout of torque in US cars will offset the transmitted weight ?
I mean, Hondas are FWD, but they lack toruqe. However, US cars are BWD, but they have crazy amount of torque
which means the transmitted weight will be negligible to such a degree due to the huge amount of torque
and the same goes with FWD cars in Hondas, particularly civics, when the weight goes backward and the engine lacks torque,,,
don't ya think so buddy ?

BTW, in the case of F1 cars, there is no way to fit sth in the front side,,, I have no idea about them, however.
we have nothing to do with F1 cars, it is a different world and what goes for there doesn't necessarly goes for here and everything has its pros and cons.
I would like to mention that I don't hate BWD cars,,, I love Honda S2000

this # will be considered perfect if it is 1.75
in B16 engines, it is 1.74, the reason why you can rev it high safely... the more stroke you add to the engine, the less rods legnth you end up, which in turn leads to less than 1.74,,,, and results in lowering revving limit. this is y it is considered a bad idea to throw in a stroker kit, you will lose the characteristic of high revving. some people, install destroker kit in order to raise the revv limit up to 14k RPM,,,, there r many other reasons beside the aforementioned, if u would like to know them, I don't have to answer ur Qs since we have some physics people around here
